What is it with these hard plastic bodies that are in vogue at the moment? Starfire always looked soft when drawn by Perez. Now? looks like every inch of her body has silicon in it.

The overwhelming impression for some time now has been that we're dealing with artists who have not actually seen a real woman!

What's sad about what's happened to Starfire is that George's version of the character was essentially an innocent.

Picked up the Bishoujo Mystique statuette, which includes one rather disturbing detail. To save a nickel they decided not to sculpt the hand with which she is sweeping back her (slightly transparent) hair, with the result that even a cursory inspection indicates that she is thrusting a STUMP into her flowing locks!

Also picked up the Bowen mini-bust of Mockingbird -- "mini" being completely inaccurate in describing what may well be the most prominent frontal superstructure of any Bowen babe to date!!

According to the latest Entertainment Earth ctalog there's a new Wolverine tumbler in the pipeline -- actually using a piece of my Wolverine art that I don't hate!

This is not a plug, incidentally. I don't make a dime off this. In fact, if I want one, I will have to BUY one!

cool but his stance is a little too "powerful" like he's ready to wrestle, shouldn't he look like he's about to fall over?

Picked this up today at a LCS. I have never seen this before and I have no idea what a Neo Genesis Exclusive is, nor do I care. I really like the character and I thought it was a pretty neat little figure. It was only $7.00. Oh, and it is 1 of 7,500. So, I guess it must be rare ;-).
