The Raven looks feminine to me, in fact I was thinking she's a lot more busty than presented by George Perez.

=====

That's true, but this Raven statue was based on drawings by Adam Hughes, so of course the character is going to be bustier than usual.

I remember Perez saying that Eduarto Barreto who took over New Titans at one point drew a very pretty girl as Raven, but that she did not look at all like Raven. This statue reminds me of that statement.

Bangs? Has there ever been a version of the character where her hairline didn't form her signature widow's peak?

And the floppy cowl has completely lost the smooth, pointed "beak" that tied her visual in with her name.

Given a different color scheme and a pair of handguns, I could see this as a viable version of Hughes' "Ghost" character however...

I was told my design would be too expensive to manufacture, yet I don't see a whole lot of difference between it and what's been produced.

Don't sell your sketch short, JB! I love Randy's new Thing sculpt, but those other three look much too drab for me (a word I would not use to describe your design).

Personally I would have prefered a JB themed set, but I still do enjoy these for what they are.

Most seems to be complaining that this is the second Kirby themed set of the FF that Bowen has released, but the first set left a lot to be desired.

I personally love the look of The Thing and Sue. Reed and Johnny could use some work, but they aren't bad. Besides the JB look of the characters, the only one I really care about is the Kirby one.

Nice statue, but it reaaaally makes the case for the old-style capsule utility belt, huh?

What does it tell us, I wonder? Back when the BATMAN TV series was on, once of the constant complaints from bat-fans was the "literalization" of the utility belt. The decision of the producers to have Batman actually be able to pull various gadgets out of the belt. This necessitated those lumpy pouches, and contributed to the myth of Adam West's pot belly.

Now, this is how the character is drawn in the comics!

The new paint scheme is an improvement, but I don't like the random tattering of his cape.

And all of the Fellowship. I hope Gandalf's hat comes in blue.
