'Course--it has the licorice hair that JB hates....•• I was about to comment that this time it looks like it doesn't! Mind you, if it goes with the full figure image posted above, my complaint would be that it seems to have a Ken doll body, give a most unrealistic bend to the arm, and fold to the sleeve.

Here's another shot of the figure. Seems like it's hard to get the cloth or leather to lay correctly at 1:6 scale in some angles --

Seems like it's hard to get the cloth or leather to lay correctly at 1:6 scale in some angles ------------ This reminded me of a recent post on James Gurney’s blog about miniature artist lay figures: http://gurneyjourney.blogspot.com/2012/01/artists-lay-figure s-part-3.html The gist of it is that the fabric needs to be thin in order to fold to scale. Most action figures use fabrics that are too thick or coarse to properly form appropriately sized wrinkles.

In my collection, I have from Sideshow an earlier Red Skull, plus two statues of John Wayne, one as Rooster Cogburn, and another as a WW2 flyer. Thinner fabric was used on all of these, and the way the cloth folds -- including the leather jacket on Wayne's flyer -- is most realistic.

Looks like a new Captain Kirk cookie jar is on the way from Westland Giftware, as a companion piece to the previous Spock one:

Kirk is giving me a Mitt Romney vibe! I've been watching too much 24 hour news again...

Yes, animated Kirk. Who was often way less animated than real-life Kirk. I like it.

I just got this little guy at my LCS. It's a keychain/zipper pull line called Marvel Frenzies from Tokidoki. At six bucks and a 'blind' box, I probably won't get any more, but I like him.
Here's what the box looks like. It's two inches tall. I'm not sure why Cap has a hamburger.
