The feeling is much akin to the early days of discovering/reading comics. With the figures turning up out of order and sometimes going "out of print" pretty fast, there is even an element of the thrill of the hunt. Awakens the 10 year old in me.

Addiction, indeed. Before hitting the sheets last night, I got She-Hulk on
eBay.

*sigh*

And, JB, you're absolutely right about that feeling of being ten again. The
store I visited--called Album--had many of the figurines, but not all. There
was no Docteur Fatalis (Doctor Doom), and I am now bound and determined
to find him.

Hoping, too, that Eaglemoss licenses the DC super-heroes, too.

Speaking of figurines going "out of print" so to speak, does anyone know which ones aren't being produced any more?  I'm getting close to owning all the ones that are out there in the States that I want, but a few like the first "issue" Spider-Man, Magneto, Silver Surfer, and Wolverine have been out of stock at Midtown Comics for a while.  They don't even list Spider-Man and Wolverine any more!

I got lucky on my last order through Midtown.  I just happened to check if any of the out of stock items had come in stock a couple of weeks ago and lo and behold Captain America and Dr. Doom were listed.  I quickly ordered them along with five others (got them last week) and now checking the Midtown site, neither are even listed.  I have hope for Magneto, since he's listed as just being out of stock, but no listing at all for Spider-Man or Wolverine.  A ton of listings for up coming releases, however, that will be sure to break my bank once again!

********

I don't know if it means anything but my LCS has all of them in stock on a regular basis so its probably possible to get them all.

I'll mention, in passing, that I finally caved and ordered the Shadowcat figure in Eaglemoss series. This despite the atrocious art on the magazine cover, the &^#%ing dragon, a bad costume, big boobs and, hey, the big question of why I should have to PAY for something based on a character I created.

All said and done, tho, she is a character I created, and when I survey the miniature ranks of these figures, being able to point to a few and say "I created those" is just a hoot!

Maybe I can cut the dragon off. . . . .

I tried going to a source in England to pick up those I haven't been able to find in the US except through eBay ($6+ shipping each, whatever).  After nearly three weeks and no responses to my emails beyond, "We'll let you know when your order has shipped," I just canceled the dang thing.  I just have to be patient, I guess.  Still no Cap in my collection, but I did add the Human Torch.  I'm up to a whopping 4 figures now.
