I was deathly afraid of this since the day the Republican cowards didn't confirm the impeachment.  And I always knew JB was correct when he said this would happen, but damn I was hoping against hope.

All due respect, bullshit.  Fuck that motherfucker.  He does not get to destroy my country.

This is what the people want. Hard to accept, but it is what it is.

It's horrible news for the rest of us in the rest of the world as well, as the US elections tend to influence what goes on in other elections everywhere, and the general "mood" of the world IMHO.

Hard to find a positive thing to say.

"Nothing matters anymore" may seem nihilist, but I tend to agree. 

At least in "politics" as we used to know them. Since the pandemic (and a bit earlier, since Trump's first win) it's been the norm.

The Democratic leadership blunders are so sad to watch. Simply sticking with Biden for so long and then giving the impression of Harris being foisted on the country hurt them bad. The Democrats need to work on having less incompetent leadership. They should have won this.

The Republicans have no leadership at all. We survived the Trump shitshow last time, we'll survive again. But it won't be fun...
