They love him because they think he's only calling the Army "suckers and losers".

That’s the amazing Chinese menu mentality Trumf has fostered in his sheep. They only pay attention to the parts they like. One from column A, two from column B.

That’s how an adulterer brings nuns to his rallies. “But he’s pro-life!”

One of my aunts pretty much believes anything Trump says. She copy-pasted one of his Truth (lol!) Social rants into Facebook, which, among other things, accused Harris of wanting a 70-80% tax rate! Sorry, but anyone who believes that for a second is a MORON.

Meanwhile, Trump is flip-flopping on Florida's abortion laws. And Harris said she'd have passed a border law that was proposed by a Republican AND endorsed by the Border Patrol but shot down by Trump when he was President. The law would have made it harder for illegals to seek asylum and increased border security. So anything Trump has to say about illegal immigration and the border is pretty much bs.

If Harris is elected, I hope she gets that bill brought forward again.

On January 6th, I waited in dread of the Army or National Guard being called in.  I felt it was pretty likely in that case that some would join the insurrectionists and that it might not have stopped there.

When you learn that there are White Supremacist gangs in law enforcement and the armed forces, is it any surprise that they’re also chock full of Trumpers? His performative antics at memorials (this week wasn’t the first nor will it be the last), his opinions of POWs like McCain (“I like people who weren’t captured”), his claim that Medal of Freedom winners are “actually much better than” Medal of Honor winners because “they’re either in very bad shape because they’ve been hit so many times by bullets or they’re dead”, mean nothing to them.  As JB said, they check the box of “strong military” while ignoring the box that says “denigrates those who served”.  Absurd, but that’s who the draft dodger, “bone spur” coward has always been.

The Medal of Freedom became a joke when he awarded it Rush Limbaugh. I'm all for recinding his medal, if possible.

To be objective, Republicans probably felt the same way when Obama pinned one on Biden.

To be objective, Biden never celebrated the deaths of people who died of AIDS.

More than all the blowhard stuff, the making fun of AIDS victims is what stands out as him getting that medal being a travesty.

When Limbaugh died, Republicans actually complained his passing wasn't commemorated with the same respect accorded to Congressman John Lewis, a civil rights hero who died the previous year.

As ridiculous as it sounds to equate Limbaugh's career as a professional insult comedian with literally any actual public service, to be objective, his pioneering grift through mass media propaganda defined today's Republican Party. Limbaugh wasn't just the modern GOP's version of a civil rights hero, he was John the Baptist to Trump's Jesús Harold Christ.

Yep... aside from Rupert Murdoch, there is no single individual who did more than Limbaugh to create the poisonous atmosphere of American politics today, wherein people have been persuaded to think that their neighbors are their mortal enemies simply because of political disagreement.  His legacy is deep and far-reaching.

Back in the 90s I had a coworker who loved listening to Limbaugh.  I remember Limbaugh ranting about how Bill Clinton was not "the real President" because he'd been elected with a plurality but not a majority of votes both times.  Of course, when W was elected without even a plurality, he went silent.  Same for Trump.  Cancer was an appropriate fate for someone who was indeed cancerous for our society.

The vitriol Harris is getting from Musk on Twatter is incredible.
The guy is currently using an AI image of Harris in Communist regalia to
attack her for quoting Trump saying he would be a dictator on day 1 (which
he said).
The guy is saying he is for free speech & then showing the worst that can
be derived from unfiltered free speech.
We really have witnessed an age where the abuse of position has reached
epic levels.

I really hope Harris wipes the floor with them.
But, unfortunately, that would mean four more years of the whole ‘stolen
election’ crap. This time backed, from day 1, by Musk & his platform, which
will push it to every single user regardless of who they follow.

House, Senate Republicans warn they need a lot more campaign money - POLITICO

Oh no!  I wonder to whom's organization all RNC money has been funneled into?!

Thoughts and prayers to the GOP and their elections this fall.
