Joe Zhang:
Let's just face it : Obama isn't really Black. And Hilary isn't really a woman.
That explains a lot.

Do you believe that Felons should vote, Christopher?

Felons? I must've missed the trials. How much time did those millions of people do?

This article makes a good case for why the popular vote is far too skewed to be relevant. Adding in the Florida and Michigan votes into the popular vote total only makes it more skewed. The fact that neither candidate campaigned in Michigan or Florida was a huge advantage to the well-known Clinton over the less-known Obama. Look at how he was able to reduce the deficit between himself and Clinton in Pennsylvania with a month of solid campaigning. Anyone who would argue he would have gotten the same vote percentage in Florida if they'd both campaigned there is not being objective. And obviously the Michigan total is skewed toward Clinton. I would guess a lot more Obama supporters than Clinton supporters did not even bother to vote, knowing his name was not on the ballot.
Barring an unexpected major gaffe, Obama will be well ahead in pledged delegates by the end of the primaries. He will most likely be ahead in popular voting, skewed though that may be. For the superdelegates to select Clinton despite those factors would be extremely foolish, and I doubt it will happen.

What I don't understand is why they keep on saying he won't win enough delegates to be nominated. There are two people in the running. One person will have a majority over the other. When that number is crossed, they will have a majority. There is no way both can have all these delegates and still no one has reached or will reach the magic number, as the pundits keep on saying. Am I missing something?

Also, what is all this about Felons voting? In Canada, prisoners have the right to vote, even when they are in prison. Do prisoners not have that right in the States?

Nope. One of the things we need to change. If they're reformed, they get their rights back. If they ain't, why are they out?

...but this latest batch of bullshit is frustrating in that none of it makes any sense if you give it the slightest thought... I suppose I'm all heated up from listening to right wing radio...
Sounds to me like typical right wing radio.

Kevin, you mean they can't vote, even after they did their time? That makes no sense at all.

Let me really clearly spell it out here - Florida and Michigan, like said Floridian Felons, broke the rules and thus, are denied the vote.
Let me really clearly spell it out here - Florida voters did no such thing. Voters have no control over when they are allowed to vote. To penalize the voters and not let their choices matter is wrong in every sense.
I didn't realize that voting in the primary made me a felon.

Luckily, it doesn't work that way. Obama is still going to win it.
The primaries and become the Democratic candidate? Maybe.
The election? Not a chance.

More, Obama is flush with money while Clinton is bordering on bankruptcy.
The Pennsylvania win has made Clinton flush with money.
