I'm so patriotic, I'm ordering a pair of those banana hamocks.

(and this post should help move us to the next page)

Ok, back to politics. The next primary is next week, correct? What is the feeling in the States, is Obama going to take it or is Clinton going to prove that her terrible antics can be successful? I checked some poll sites but the numbers are all  over the place. How does it look?

It looks irrelevant. The margin of victory will be slim regardless of who wins, and we will be no closer to having a clear winner.

Maybe, but going into the primary, it's been assumed that Clinton will take
Pennsylvania. The demographics of the state favor her base. Even a month
ago, she was polling with a double digit lead. If she loses to Obama, or even
if she wins but with a small margin, I think you'll hear more party members
asking her to step down.

What's worse is that if Obama loses Pennsylvania, it'll probably be "explained" with the "bitter/guns/religion" comment. Which means Clinton will go even dirtier and they'll keep spinning his own words against him.

It just annoys me, because the statements they keep going after him with are penny-ante stuff.

Well, look, here's what going to happen - the same thing as the rest of the states - she'll win - not by much, and the news reports will play it like it was a horse race and that she really did something special, but back in reality, the votes in the Democratic Primary are proportional, so she'll take x number of votes and Obama will take x number of votes, and in the end, he'll still be at least 100 votes ahead of her in delegates.

Really, based on the math, it's all over for Hillary, and it has been for a while now.

It really is morning in America.

The current average of all the polls recently taken is 5.7 points separating them.  Personally, I tend to follow Rassmussen more than any other polling system, it's usually accurate within 2+/-.  They currently have Clinton ahead by 3 points.

Clinton should win this state, and I suspect she will.  However, if she wins by 5 or less, it's going to be a big hurt for her.  Especially since she was up by 20 6 weeks ago.  This is not a state that Obama, when going against Clinton, should win nor even get as close as he has....  This speaks volumes.

My gut feeling is she'll win by 4.  There's a lot of undecided in the polls, close to 10%.

The problem is, the math isn't going to decide it. Neither candidate is going to have enough delegates to win the nomination the old-fashioned way. It's going to come down to a decision by the party.
