And then this one, which sentences can be translated by " I am Robin Bush. I steal from the poors to give to the riches . "

The only confusion resulted from your plainly unfounded assumptions concerning a painfully straightforward question.  Proof of that, being the question itself.

Seems to me it would have been easier to for you to simply have admitted your mistake, rather than dragging this out for three or four posts.  Like you said...

"You really need to stop while you're behind."

President Bush's speech was more balanced than I had imagined it would be, given his desire to push this proposal through Congress.  I'll give him credit, as he isn't exactly a maestro of the bully pulpit, for making the appeal.

Well, no, you were confused by what I wrote, so wrote a question, as you later revealed, that you had an answer to.  You went into your question thinking you knew what I was talking about, and ready to make some point, and you were wrong.

It's too bad there is so much posturing and demonizing of the other side by everyone (I don't mean here specifically, I mean in the campaign in general).  Clearly, McCain has a political motivation for wanting to postpone the first debate.  That may not be his only motivation, but it certainly is a major part of his motivation.  Anyone who believes he is acting on wholly selfless motivations is incredibly naive.  Just as clearly, Obama has a political motivation for wanting the debate to go on as scheduled.  This is not a case of one side putting America first and one side being selfish.  Nor is it a case of one being unable to multi-task and the other side being more capable.  This is all about politics for both sides.

Scrolling through pages of personal spats really gets a bit boring, "No,,, you said...." "No... what YOU said was..."

Get a room.

"Clearly, McCain has a political motivation for wanting to postpone the first debate.  That may not be his only motivation, but it certainly is a major part of his motivation."

Whatever the campaign's  motivation--to stunt politic an angle and limit his exposure to charges of either inaction or backing the "wrong" outline against a Democrat-controlled Congress by directly inserting himself, IMO--there really isn't much he could realistically do to guide the final form of the proposal.  Nor, Senator Obama.

We'll see how it plays, I guess.

Guess you missed Jodi's post that completely refuted the suggestion that
Obama is placing the campaign over the economic situation.

Here it is again then for anyone else who may have missed it:

 Jodi Moisan wrote:
A McCain senior adviser said that Obama called
McCain early Wednesday morning to asking a joint statement of "shared
principles and conditions" for the bailout proposal.

An Obama campaign source confirmed the call and said that McCain
returned his call six hours later, and accepted the concept and suggested
the two of them return to Washington to join the negotiations. The source
says that Obama told him that he would do that only if negotiators saw it
as useful.

According to the Obama source, soon after they ended the call, McCain
announced he was suspending his campaign and returning to Washington.

Wow he said he wanted both parties to come together to solve this
problem, way to take credit for something he didn't even come up with.
But then again he is the candidate of "Change" .

Jodi - this article ( http://700wlw.com/cc-common/political/article.html?feed=1047 07&article=4288178&lc=political ) details that, among others, Palin was granted an audience with Bono today.

(Can't prove anything, but rumors are swirling about if he signed the left or right one)

Anyway... I note with some dissapointment that Bono is not on that list of people Biden met with.

Fortunately, Obama already had that angle covered...
