Mike O'Brien, I found these on the Bendis Boards and thought of you.

Obama would be Apollo Creed. Rocky went the distance with Apollo Creed and lost.  If she concedes at the Democratic Convention will she yell out "Billlllll!!!  Billlll! I did it.  I went the distance. I love you."

I just would rather picture Obama with a mohawk and calling Hillary "woman."

McCain's got the right level of anger to be Mickey, I should say.

I don't think McCain's that angry.  Right now I think he's very content.  I don't think of McCain as an angry generally though.  Tough yes.  A maverick, most definitely, but not angry.

Great bit on the Daily Show the other night about McCain's age (easy target).

It was "reported" that right before Lincoln gave his Gettysburg address, he was offered a ladel full of cool water from a young John McCain.

Odd that they make a big deal of McCain's age -- there's less a gap between he and Clinton than there is between Clinton and Obama.

I think a lot of the "experience" argument has been dressed-up ageism anyway.
