Oh wow, Jodi. I'm surprised your son could remember that far back into his childhood.

Do you need more legitimate reasons, or would you rather just spew your anti-Bush rhetoric? Relax, he's only got a few more months in charge, and then everything's coming up roses.
***********
Maybe the government in Afghanistan wouldn't be so fragile if we had concentrated there, where the enemy actually was, instead of getting dragged in a completely unnecessary war. It's far from being "anti-Bush" to say he fucked up.
Defend the moron all you want, he rushed into a war without making sure the intelligence was correct (if indeed he didn't know it already). That in anybody's book is called fucking up.

the U.S. helped back the Taliban in their fight against Russia
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The Taliban didn't exist until after the Soviets withdrew from Afghanistan. The Northern Alliance that fought with us against the Taliban were what was left of the Mujahideen who fought the Soviets.
********
They may not have used the term at the time but you're saying that none of the people who became involved in the Taliban could have been trained by the CIA while being part of the group fighting the Soviets? I don't believe that. Do you believe that the CIA had no involvement in the Iran-Iraq War where the US sided with the Iraq (led by Saddam Hussein) either?

She gave jobs to friends? Are you serious? Every politician in the fucking world does that.
She may have some overdue library books. Someone should look into that.

Well, not every politician is qualified to be the President. I'd prefer one who hasn't "pursued vendettas, fired officials who crossed her and sometimes
blurred the line between government and personal grievance", according the NYTimes.

Jonathan, got his brains from his dad, all through school he got placed in the gifted and talented classes, I don't know if that was why he could remember it or if it was the fact My Buddy stayed on his shelf in his room until he was about five, then moved into the closet on a shelf. So MY Buddy was always lurking somewhere keeping the horrors of MY Buddy creepyness alive. I wonder if the person who wrote Chuckie had a MY Buddy doll and a well intentioned loving Mom? LOL
He got his "talks like a sailor" from me. Damn it I'm so proud. LOL
One of the best lines at the RNC came from the Ron Paul Iraqi invasion vet "You can't win an occupation."

I won't comment on the U.S. Economy, but I can't believe you said the
part about America's international influence with a straight face. I
suppose an semantic argument could be made about what you said -
America technically can still influence internationally. But it sure can't do
so anymore by/while enjoying the respect of foreign nations.
In other news, Tin Fey does a killer Sarah Palin impersonation:

If they weren't qualified for the job then it is indeed a problem.
"The New York Times reported that Palin had given the 95,000-dollar-a-year directorship of the state division of agriculture to a high school classmate, Franci Havemeister, who cited her childhood love of cows as a qualification for running the agency."
