Good thing Palin isn't running for President.
*************
And once again Scott skirts the issue. OK, I'll play. Since we know McCain feels the same way except for the creationism (I think) tell me what policies of his you agree with. No to gay marriage? No to abortion (Although in his defense he would allow it in cases of rape and incest)? What. I'm genuinely curious. Almost every person on here for Obama has stated unequivocally why they support him. I urge all of you to do the same.
Still waiting on why Scott thinks Obama is a Marxist. Not links to someone elses thoughts. But as he proved with this reply, he's very adept at avoiding the tough questions.

I wonder if Gibson had suggested to Palin that Georgia was visible from Alaska too, would Palin have known...?
I don't think Charlie is that clever.

referred to our pending civil unions as the equivalent of a dog license
No. Because I can GET a dog license.
*****
I meant ours as in Irish ones. He was stating that partners were getting the same level of recognition as a pet:
"I have listened to people in this House [the Irish Senate] and in the other one [The Dail] compare the degree of recognition which I would get to somebody with a pet, to a couple of nuns and to a couple of elderly sisters. I repeat what I said yesterday that I am not prepared to accept a dog licence. I am not a second-class citizen, nor will I remain so."

I never dodge fair, legitimate questions. Obama wants BIG government. He wants to expand it way more than I am comfortable with. That is how he is like a Marxist.

Palin seems to be glued to the guy that is though and I think I know why. Its because if they both had rallies on the same day, Palin would get a bigger crowd. The McCain/Palin ticket has become the Palin (also featuring John McCain) ticket.

William:
In fairness to Scott he has said that he is left leaning as it pertains to social issues (presumably gay rights, abortion and the like) but right leaning on matters of fiscal policy and national defense. Scott was a supporter of Senator Clinton's. The question I posed, that remains unaswered, is how does the policies pertaining to Fiscal Policy and National Defense proposed by Senator Clinton differ substantively from that of Senator Obama? What is the difference between Senator Clinton and Barack Obama that is driving him to vote for Senator McCain?

No. Because I can GET a dog license. said Tom for the WIN!
Jodi you can use my McCain Cat with total abandon.
Man you guys I take an evening off and have to read for 220 minutes just to catch up...

She's running for the number 2 spot...that is simply too close for comfort to have someone with those beliefs. The vice president steps in in the event of presidential death(McCain has a fairly strong chance of kicking it while in office).
I am ready for someone to hold the office that will respect the views of others and not cater to the religious viewpoints of one sect of one religion. afterall that is unamerican.

He could have exposed her seven-ways-from-Sunday. Instead, at worst (best), he came on like an annoyed school marm.
Charlie.
She kept injecting his name into every answer -- "Yes, Charlie... Right, Charlie... Well, Charlie... You see, Charlie."

I don't like "BIG" Government either but in no way is anything proposed by Barack Obama, or Hillary Clinton for that matter, even closely resembeling Marxisim (or even, truthfully, socialism). Refering to it as Marxism is comical.
What, Scott, is the substantive difference in policy between Senator Clinton and Senator Obama that caused you to support her and oppose him? Third time I've asked. Do you feel its an unfair question?
Edited to add:
Scott provided an answer some posts after this one.
