er, no doubt, Don!  Is there really such a problem with voter fraud that poor blacks need to be turned away from the polls?

There's voter fraud going on, yes, but it's not poor people doing the fraud.  It's the fact that democracy is being put aside in the name of law and in the interest of those controlling who votes.

Oh, no, it's too late to take the high ground,  Richards acted like a fool, and made a suggestion that I'm a problem, publically, and I'm throwing it back at him.

Uh huh.  Again, I consider the source.  But thanks for playing.

Kiss and make up, boys, or at the very least get back to discussing the election instead of personal swipes at each other.

Mike, you are one of a kind.  I’ll give you that.  Just for you I decided to go over your posts in this thread from the past several days.

Responding to Christopher calling you on something:

Ah HA!  Got you on that one - I didn't put it in quotes, but italicized it - it's my summation of Bush's words, not an actual quote.

Knowing you and your posting style, I knew you'd focus on that.

One of my favorites is when you say:

Dave - you tried to paint me a kook - I'm just tossing it back at you.  I will not stand for attacks on my character.

I find it so funny because it follows a few pages after you show exactly what your character is when you attack me out of the blue when you and I hadn’t been having any conversations.  I call you on it and you respond with quite a series of responses such as:

(sniff ...sniff...)  Hey!  Someone needs to change Scott's diaper.

Here I sit, nestled under Scott's stinky nut-sack.

Bai!  Bai!  Hair and poop!

Scott, stop fussing - someone will come and change you soon.

Oh, and, I may be a jerk - in fact, I'm a full-on asshole, but, unlike you, I'm not feeble minded.

Scott - let's be clear here - I have no friends on here.  You don't like my behavior, stop the converstion.  I'm not randomly attacking you - I post something, you toss me snark, I toss it back.

At that point I point out your lie with:

Mike - let's be clear here.  You and I weren't even having a conversation then out of the blue you posted:

Awkwardly points out to Scott that he is, by Keith's definition, a "nutjob", due to his irrational assumption that President Obama will somehow bring about "Socialism".

So quit playing the martyr.  You started the whole thing so don't get your panties in a bunch when someone calls you on it.

You then reply, admiting you were wrong but attacking me while doing so with:

Oh, ha ha!  Why, Scott - that's the first true and correct thing you've said!

I guess I am the asshole here.  Touche!

And I loved your comments about Palin as a person, not her politics:

I do not give her any respect as she has done nothing to deserve it.  She's everything I despise in a person, much less a politician.

Yeah.  You’re one to talk about the high road.   Yeah, Mike, that says it all about your character.

So feel free to say whatever you want.  Your own words put what you have to say into perspective.

Edit:  At Matt's request *smack* that kiss was for you.

In the spirit of the election, you want to put it to a vote, Scott?  Want to see who adds something to the conversation, and who is trash that needs to be taken out?

I'm game.  JBF Election 2008 - Scott Richards vs Mike O'Brien - we'll campaign till November and the winner can continue to post here and the loser will hang his hat at some other forum.

You up to it, Scott?

I don't need a pissing contest.  The maturity level it takes to even suggest it, well, says it all.  Were you the schoolyard bully?

I've never suggested you not post here so not sure why you would try to censor me.

Sure, I wish you'd clean up your act but freedom of speech and all, I know you have the right to, in your own words, be a jerk and full-on asshole.  More power to you.  Just don't claim the high road when you are in the ditch.

I'd be more interested in how many forum members actually even approve of your suggestion.  I can't see even your staunchest supporters being in favor of censorship.  LOL
