Would not the response to that question -- as framed -- be when did the Democrats find that it was okay to make sexist comments?

---

No, I qualified the comments as "perceived" for a reason. My point was more that politicians like Clinton and Pelosi get cheapshots on a regular basis, and the world keeps turning. I understand that Palin is a VP candidate in very emotional election, but I think that is all the more reason for her party to shrug it off instead of making a big deal about it. I do agree that Palin has been the target of sexism, but I don't think this "lipstick on a pig" comment is one of them.

You're constantly seeing subtle, coded racism in campaign ads, but see nothing racist about blacks being promoted over more qualified white applicants because of Affirmative Action.

Do you even know what Affirmative Action means and what it is intended to redress? Legally speaking, I mean.

Agreed, my friend.  I was simply being a devil's advocate and arguing that I think both parties will stoop to any level to win.

From John Hawkins, you just might be a *vile JBF* liberal if...

----

I'm curious why you needed to add this qualifier. I don't recall anyone espousing a majority of those things on the list.

An aside to current developments, I was on YouTube last night and clicked on "the video Hillary doesn't want you to see" or some such crap and saw that in rather direct ways, the Clintons torpedoed Stan Lee Entertainment!

Not that this adds much to the discussion, but I thought it was more or less on-topic here in this election thread on the JBF.  Here's the link for the mildly to wildly curious (has this come up before?) link

Stan Lee never should've gotten involved with a criminal like Peter Paul.

That's quite an army of straw men, Daniel. All set to invade Emerald City, are we?

I think they set up a vast network of domestic terrorist cells disguised as coffeeshops.
