Yes, I think he did an excellent job of making up for a simple gaffe that
anyone could have made. Kudos to him, and thanks for posting that great
look into what kind of decent and admirable person he is, Christopher.

Sometimes I don't like Dr. Phil, but I love when he says this:

"The best predictor of future behavior is relevant past behavior."

I think it is a perfect saying for those republicans that consider themselves "Bush Haters" and are now McCain supporters.

So that means if Obama gets into office since he's really done nothing except write a couple of books that we can expect him to spend those four years writing a couple more and not doing much else?  :P

I just figured Biden was reaching out to the religious right by attempting to "Faith heal."  Guess it didn't work!

"Man you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig."

*****

Didn't she use the words "Lipstick" and "Pitbull" to describe herself? Republicans are using the "poor little woman" tactic a lot.

But since she does believe in Book banning I will say this about her :"Man you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig."

You just love to spread false information.  She doesn't believe in book banning.

Obama's defeat won't be because of Obama.  It will be because of over zealous supporters who throw half-truths and lies out there.

So now Obama has made a speech in which he compared the Democrat's idea of change in government to the Republican's idea of the same thing, and pointing out that the Republican's really do not represent any sort of change, he said "You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig."

And the news hounds are having a field day, as the Republicans drum up sturm und drang by claiming in most indignant fashion that this was a reference to Sarah Palin.

And, you know, the only thing more stupid than this is the number of "Man on the Street" soundbites that have produced people who say they will not vote for Obama because of this.

According to recent reports, Democratic campaign funding has almost dried up, while money continues to pour into the Republican campaign --- yet the Republicans remain so desperate they have to pull crap like this?? How pathetic is that?

Yep.  Which is exactly why Obama's attack was viewed as an attack since he basically called her a pig.

No he didn't. Buy a clue. (Or do you want to join the "over zealous
supporters who throw half-truths and lies out there" you were deriding just
two posts back?)

He thinks since Bush Sr. and the republicans have become a joke on the line of being the "fiscally responsible party".

Bush the Elder (aka 41), Jodi or  Dubya?  Dubya I'd agree, I don't believe I would as it pertains to 41.
