I don't think Tom Brokaw is a powerful Republican.

>>You know I laugh when I read, those that are from the right post, that more vile flows from the left<<

Jodi, I agree with part of you assertion here, that the conversation flows more freely when you are going with the flow.

However, I don't think anyone here is arguing about the political trashing of an opponent in the media. It's the lack of decorum here that is in question.

Are you saying Tom Brokaw got them removed?  Why did they ever use them in the first place, being democrat I like to hear them stick it to the republicans on their shows but I felt it was over the top to cover the RNC.

I just want to say that Forum Decorum would be a great name for a band.  Carry on.

I agree, I don't like when it gets personal either, there is too much to not like about the opposing candidate to have to attack each other. Is it the cussing that bothers you?

Does the McCain camp have no shame?

Backstory - the bill in question was one designed to teach children to avoid preditors.  Not about sex.

End of backstory.

Tsk Tsk McCain... just because you've added Pailin to your ticket, don't lower yourself to her level...

Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews were not removed from Election Night Coverage.  They were removed from anchoring the coverage of the Debate Coverage and the Election Night Coverage.  They will still be there doing analysis.

As for why they were removed, I would guess that the reasons include writing for a left wing blog and for feeling a tingle in the leg whenever the Democrat candidate speaks.

Beanie: Whoa. Whoa. Why the F-ing? Why in front of the kid? All ya gotta do
is say "earmuffs" to him, and you can say "Fuck, shit, bitch."
Frank: Cock. Balls.
Beanie: I'm just trying to make a point, Frank. You don't have to celebrate it.

That's been the greatest failure of the pro-lifers, I think. Instead of trying to legislate it, try to change the hearts and minds of people, so that whether it is legal or not is irrelevant.

---------

That won't work as long as anyone things legal = fine and dandy, and taking human life is only murder if its illegal.
