Either one could have their campaign scuttled with one unfortunate fifteen-year-old videotape

-----------------------------------

Wait, Obama and Palin made a tape? Merciful Zeus! Call Hannity quick!

------------------------------------------------------------ ----------

I confess I would have mixed feelings regarding the discovery of such a Palin video; I'd feel bad while downloading it

------------------------------------------------------------ ----

While downloading it, maybe. Afterward....

LOL.  I don't think Obama will follow Wright down that path, heh.

Interesting timing on the initial troop withdrawals from Iraq.  4000 this year and another 4000 early next year.  Didn't McCain recently say we'll be there for the next 100 years?  Now, it's all about withdrawal after having achieved "victory".  Also, he says "change" is coming.  Isn't that Obama's line?  It's very clever how the Republicans try to be everyman.  I just hope enough brand new voters come in to overwhelm the new "energy" the Republicans have.

No. McCain didn't say we'd be there for 100 years.

Audience member: " "President Bush has talked about us staying in Iraq for 50 years ..."

McCain: "Make it a hundred"

Audience member: "Is that what ..."

McCain: "We've been in Japan for sixty years. We've been in South Korea for fifty years or so. That would be fine with me as long as Americans are not being harmed or wounded or injured or killed."

Just that he'd be fine with that.

You know I laugh when I read, those that are from the right, post, that more vile flows from the left, it feels that way because when the vile is flowing from the right, you are agreeing with it. LOL

But to be honest if you think in politics, vile won't be flowing on both sides, you are very naive.

I protested the war before one soldier was killed and the vile names I was called I could fill a book, now that we know the invasion was built on lies and is costing us 1 billion a week. Those that shouted the viles names, do they say "hey look maybe we were wrong to call you an unAmerican fucking traitor hippie bitch". Nope they just manipulate the troop levels to insure more of their party, gets in for 4 more years.

What lost the election for democrats were the 3 G's: God, Gays and Guns, couldn't have been the economy, because when Clinton left, we had a surplus. I am OK if we lost over those reasons though, because they are important reasons to me I want God out of the government business and back in church where he belongs, I want every person that falls in love to be able to marry and I want gun control. When we see this country sink lower and lower, people will finally get their fill and stand up and do something to change it. If not, they will keep electing the same type people and will get the same results.

Something that was funny, I read where Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews was removed from Election night coverage, I told my husband when I was watching the RNC why would they ever use them , it would have been the same to have Rush and Bill'O doing the DNC. Well I think some powerful republicans that are connected to NBC felt the same way, I watched the Today show and it was a republican lovefest. LOL
