O RLY?
********************************

Has there really been time to do an adequate update to the Snopes entry to sift through the letter for in-depth fact-checking and put it in context? Al's example looks like it's been several months in the making, whereas only last week Palin was a relative unknown.

I tried to make that same point earlier, Michael.

It hasn't been long enough.  And most definitely not long enough to make even the slightest judgement call on whether or not it was unbiased.

For fucks sakes, and for the last time, Scott - I said there was no
apparent political bias.

Anne Killkenny offered the facts as she knew them first hand, and figures
calculated to the best of her ability.

She stated she did so because she believes in the importance of an
informed vote.

She did not tell anyone how to vote, or make any comment toward one
party or the other, or one presidential campaign or the other. She offered
no support to either campaign, nor impugned either campaign. Though
she may have a personal bias against Pailin (note that I do not say she
does), she offers no suggestion whatsoever of a political bias in the
larger campaign.

And beyond that, well, facts aren't biased. They're just facts.

I have yet to see any of the factual information she presented disputed.
Perhaps you'd care to try to do something proactive to disprove this piece,
instead of simply passively trying to discredit it.

Now should it be "for fucks sake" or "for fuck's sake"? I can find it both ways, but to my ears, it sounds like there should be a possessive in there.

Mike O'Brien: Hey - howcum I got to be on ignore so long and you weren't?
Doesn't seem fair. I like to pride myself on being a significantly better
person than you...
