Or vice-versa, Jeff.

Is this indicative of a wider trend of Obama supporters losing faith?

It's indicative of their being nothing new to say that hasn't already been said in the last 172 pages.

Looking at the New Yorker, either you get the joke or you don't. I think it's hilarious.

My favorite bit of McCain copy lately are the ads that say, "We don't need fancy words, or good speakers...."

A Black man and woman in the White House is going to be a hard sell. But by November the economy is going to be so %$#@ed-up, we'll all be feeling used, abused, marginalized and forgotten.

In other words, how Black folks have been feeling for the past few centuries.

Bingo.  I have better things to do than rehash the same old same old.  It's like teaching a pig to sing - wastes your time, annoys the pig.

I was dissapointed by the FISA betrayal, but, come on, he's still the best candidate the Dems have had since Truman.  I'm not going to let one vote sway me to vote for the dark side.  And shame on anyone who does.  Shame.

Hey! Mike, you have to admit, the Dark Side has better uniforms.  The Imperial March is kick ass and the Death Star is fucking awesome.

No tree-huggin' Dem can appreciate the Death Star.  It kicks the hell out of global warming theory.

Well, the problem is that rather than accentuating or exaggerating real characteristics of the man, it illustrates absolute falsehoods (and dangerous ones at that).  Perhaps the next cover should have McCain in a POW camp with his arms around the enemy like friends, gladly giving away military secrets.
