Joel I believe I have said on here I think McCain is a pretty good republican, and I believe I also said Bill Clinton was completely wrong for lying under oath. But I was told this board leaned right pretty hard and I guess your post shows that opinion.

I'd say it's more moderate-left with a wide range of opinions.

Nice try, but I'm not a Republican. In fact, I voted for Obama in the primaries. And right-leaning is not what I would call the majority of this board.

Joel you are doing the republican party a huge disservice if you lump all republicans with my distain for the Bush Administration and those that supported him completely. My brother is a republican  I have nothing BUT respect for him as a republican. He is completely against Bush and feels he has damaged the republican party and it really makes him upset.

I'm not doing anybody a disservice. You need to articulate your points better because that's how your posts come off...lumping in all Republicans w/ Bush.

Joel if that is how I am coming off then I will try harder to make it more Bush directed. We have a republican Senator here in Indiana that I like a lot, Richard Lugar is his name. Very smart man, I was hoping he would have been on McCains short list for VP but being that Indiana is a solid red state I don't see that happening.

Edited to take out "guy" I had put "Very smart guy man"

Tell the truth. Some of you have never watched Bill O'Reilly, right?

Watched him several times and read his latest book.

"Where does Jon Stewart rank with you guys?"

He's a fair comedian.  HIs show is on Comdey Central.  It's a comedy.  Is the show going to be more slanted to making fun of Republicans, yes.  There is a Republican President.  If Obama were to win, he'll find himself as the butt of the majority of the jokes (as well as all of the late night shows).  Do you also listen to Bill Maher for his political insight as well?

edited for spelling

Stewart's already rippin' on Obama. (I enjoy his show very much.)

I've always liked Jon Stewart...back to the days when he had his own (very short-lived) show on MTV back in the very early 90s.

He's very funny...although lately, I think he seems a bit too self-satisfied (maybe even smug?) with his status as the pre-eminent social/politcal satirist. But that's a small thing. He's still very good.

Bill Maher turns my stomach.

Jeff I get my information from U.S. News, Time, Kiplinger, Digg, Muncie Star Press and  USA Today. Can't stand Bill Mahar, he explained in an interview he would never get married because he enjoyed hanging out at the playboy mansion parties, kind of look at him as a creepers.

I like Bill Maher.  He doesn't always know what he's talking about - and like most pundits, NEVER knows when he doesn't know what he's talking about - but he's funny and he's angry.

I love Jon Stewart, especially when the show takes a Media Eating Itself angle.  It pisses off all the right people.

I worship Stephen Colbert, even though I constantly spell his first name wrong.  He's amazing.
