Last I heard, there was a problem with deciding the ammount and dates, and it's still being looked into.

Geoff -- on May 16th, Obama said, "Anyplace, anytime."  But they still haven't worked out the wrinkles of what that means.

I'd just like to see an unmoderated, anything goes debate where they ask each other the tough questions.  There is no need to spoon feed them questions.  Anyone who is good enough to be President of the United States should be able to handle tough questions without the need of a moderator.

No prescripted questions that could be biased (in either direction).  No time limits.  Just the two of them (or maybe 3 if Ralph Nader has his way).

An I Quit Match would be good.

(Hillary would probably interfere and win because she doesn't seem to know how to say "I Quit")

It will be during the debates that we will really miss Tim Russert's talents.

I don't know that I like the idea of the candidates posing questions to each other, it seems too easy for them to engage in grandstanding instead of questioning.  I'd like to see them be asked tough questions, but fair questions, so they can't rely on rhetoric and have to articulate what they would do and what the basis for their position on that matter.

Well, that was the day Elizabeth was born so that could explain how I missed it!

Jello wrestling.

I'd pay to see that.

I'd pay NOT to!

I don't care how old he is -- in a fight McCain would take Obama out.

Geoff -- you're republicanism is showing.  McCain may be scrappy, but let's face it, he's seventy years old!  Obama's got him in reach (look how long his arms are -- he could pop McCain before McCain got within three feet of him) and he's got better cardio conditioning.  Sure, McCain talks tough -- and Obama would likely try to negotiate rather than fight -- but if push comes to shove, I gotta back Obama.

Now, the jello MIGHT make McCain too slippery to hold, but I doubt that too.

David -- that's the funniest thing I've read today.
