The week. But even if Olbermann didn't really beat him, if O'Reilly's calling his show the highest rated show on cable, then he's full of it. Vince McMahon would certainly take issue with that claim...

I think he refers to it as the highest raided news show.

Thanks everyone for saying I did a good job, it really does mean a lot. It was funny because I had wrote a letter to Oprah concerning the invasion in Iraq and the fact she had not addressed the issue on her show. Her people called me and said they were doing a town hall type show and would I be willing to come on as their guest. They were impressed with my fact based comments, "I wasn't just mad, I was informed" as the producer told me

They were going to fly me into Chicago and stay at a hotel, but I told them we were only 3 hours from Chicago and my husband and I would drive, stay for the show and head back ( my youngest who has a degree of autism didn't handle me being away very well at the time, he is 100% better now) I was so excited but my husband was worried because he didn't want people to attack me for what I had to say. He knew what I was saying was based on fact and he agreed it needed to be said.

Three days go by and I get a call, they aren't doing the show. I was upset that I wouldn't get a chance to become Oprah's BFF,(along with Gail). But I was OK. 2 more days go by and I get a call from the show and they explain they are putting together a show and it will have Bill O'Reilly on it. They asked if I would please be willing to come, I said yes and I ran out got the new O'Reilly book, choked back vomit reading it and was on her show by the end of the week.

I was told by the producer to not do my makeup, that they would do that, for the camera's. Well THEY DIDN"T!!!!   I not only stood up to Billo I did it without makeup.......Oh Snap!

"By the way, in a lose-lose situation for poor Geoff - Olbermann just beat O'Reilly in the ratings for the first time.
/licks finger, sticks it in air - waits..."

Waiting for me Mike, or the guy that spells the same name in a funny way?  ; )

Last week's ratings are skewed because Laura Ingram was filling in for Bill O'Reilly.  If you look at the ratings, yes they are down for "The O'Reilly Factor", but really didn't go up for "Countdown".  All this proves is that Ingram is no O'Reilly.

Olbermann's behavior reminds me of Janice Lester when she stole Captain Kirk's body.

Jeff - I was making a gag about how, if more people are watching Olberman, than the wind is blowing for a democratic victory in November!

But I realize now that I have to do more than just read the headlines!

Funny that Ingram didn't bring in ratings - granted, she's a god-damn nut (like O'Reilly isn't?), but I thought blonde hair and boobies = ratings.

I mean - people don't read follow Ann Coulter or Michelle Malkin for the intellectual discourse, do they?

Keep the faith Mike! Dubya has yet to realize that! He doesn't even read the
headlines.

Ann Coulter has boobies?

What? Isn't that what we were talking about?
