off topic.   sometimes I wonder where these delivery companies get their prices from.

I recently needed to send a package to China.  16KG in weight and DHL quoted me £575 - I declined the offer as I could get a return flight for me AND the package for £460.  So I could have had a weekend in Hong Kong, delivered the parcel personally, have £115 spending money AND broken even.   eeek

If you buy from UK then fair postage rates work out at roughly US$2.30 per 100g.

magazine/standard figurine/packaging works out at an average of 350g.  This should give you an idea of what ebay users should be expecting from you.

Alternatively, if baggage allowance is 30kg, fly over and pick up 80 or so figures , save yourselves US$640 in postage.  so if you can get a return flight for less than $640 you are in profit, plus get a weekend in Blighty :-)

The Spectre & The Creeper were in the shop today, I didn't pick up either one.  Any idea when Deathstroke: The Terminator hits shops over here?  I think Deadshot comes out next week.

Pic from Mr. P on the figurine forum. Hopefully we get one that's not so darn bright.

Midtown shipped me Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Darkseid, Joker and Donna Troy this weekend.  Superman just looks like he should be about 20% larger, but I like the sculpt in person way more than I did in photos.  The rest are really great as well.  I haven't decided if Donna is going to be turned into another Aurora custom or not.  Joker's paint job was perfect, spot on.

Picked up Green Lantern yesterday.  Nice piece just wish it was his classic outfit.  Not even going to attempt to repaint it though, compete lack of skill, lol

Can anyone confirm to me if the Lantern that Green Lantern is holding is supposed to swing freely? Mine came in broken and I am attempting to repair it.

Interesting! My Lantern's lantern appears to be molded as part of his hand.
The handle, anyway.

Thanks!

JB - My lantern's handle broke away from his hand somehow. Some white paint on Hal's glove broke off on both sides of the handle and was still attached to the lantern. I just pulled on the lantern handle and it came out of Hal's hand. I am in the process of repainting the glove and hopefully can just put the lantern back into his hand and have it free swing.
