Wow! Thanks for doing the work finding the info! That's cheap...
maybe too cheap... hmmmmm... I think my brother is going to get a friend in the UK to hook him up with a subscription. I'll let you know what he thinks if this happens!

I'd be totally in for a subscription, and I'd definitely use the Batmobile keychain. Too bad...
(Why they don't offer a subscription for those of us in the Commonwealth is beyond me. The Queen is on my money! Sell me British stuff!)

Received Steel and Black Hand yesterday afternoon. Both are really nice figurines.

Okay, started customizing a few figurines. I did one DC figurine today, Wildcat. Picked up some model paint and painted Wildcat black, I might have to go over it a bit more, but I think he looks better.

I totally asked you what paint you used over in the Marvel thread, precisely because I want to paint my own Wildcat from this set!
He looks so much better than the blue they used. I'd have even been okay with a super dark blue if I had to settle, but the shade they used was just too off!

I used Testers black matt model paint. I picked up a set of model paint over at Michael's. I need to get some green for my Green Lantern trunks, otherwise most of the DC characters I have seem to be painted okay. Grodd I'm also thinking about painting his fur black.

Big Barda arrived today. BIG indeed! And they captured all the important elements of her armor perfectly -- including the "hair"!

Oh my! If your Big Barda came in that means mine's sitting at the shop waiting for me!
Finally, my favourite comics couple will be together on my shelf! Tomorrow can't come soon enough!

Hopefully, Scott Free has busted out of his packaging by now, Brad.

Oh yeah! The idea of keeping him in lasted only a short while. Even if he couldn't be with his beloved, he's still been hanging out with his Justice League buddies!

I've got my Mister Miracle and Big Barda by the Justice Leaguers, until I get enough New Gods to group them together. Those two look really good together.

So I've avoided these figures, but... BATMAN CHESS:http://www.eaglemoss.com/dc-chess/index.html The only thing helping me resist these are the current Batman costume and Damian (who I like as a character, but not as Robin). I might overcome my distaste for those two pieces, because it's still BATMAN CHESS. How difficult would it be to customize Robin?
