New Guardian Marvel Legends figure.  Not too keen on it, but I'll keep an eye out.

Well, at least there is a little variety with the Marvel. How many versions of
Batman and Superman are DC going to produce?

Careful Dwayne -- tolerance of ANY Heroes Reborn figures brings us just one step closer to that much-awaited, much-anticipated Rob Liefeld Captain America "chase" figure.

:-P

Ah, but thankfully they're giving us a Heroes Reborn Iron Man figure -- I'm sure EVERYBODY will want one of THOSE!

Not.

If they were going to do an Iron Man figure, I'm surprised they didn't try to do an "Extremis" Iron Man armor . . . then it would have been like sneaking a movie version into the Marvel Legends line (and I'm sure the Iron Man movie rights are separate from the Marvel Legends line rights).

Marvel Legends tends to give us extra point of articulation at the expense of sculpting quality. For example it's great Guardian has moving pectorals, but his chest doesn't look like a chest should.

I kind of dig this, even though it's a ridiculous ret-con of a ret-con (Earth 2 Superman replaced by "KINGDOM COME" Superman...ehwhatever).

There is something deeply illogical going on these days. These "action
figures" are not meant to be actually played with, yet the efforts to give
them maximum articulation is making them uglier and uglier, with Marvel
Legends leading the way.

Yuck!
