JB: "This will be—with some minor modifications to make
it less episodic—just what you saw here."

****

This has been the best news for me - I really loved the
storytelling coming directly from JB for this project.
Seeing this unfold a page a day was a real treat, and
then revisiting it as a whole piece was a whole different
experience. The characters and story all unfold so
seamlessly. I would have been disappointed if there were
significant changes to what we saw posted here.

There almost were. I gave serious consideration to redrawing and rewriting the last ten issues, to get everything wrapped up. No dangling plotlines.

But I realized that (a) that would be a LOT of work and (b) probably a disappointment to those who expected to see what they’d seen here.

...

Agreed Tim.
When I reread Elsewhen as a whole I blasted thru it so effortlessly that I was surprised when the end was reached. So smooth and fun.

I'm sure the changes would have been wonderful, but I am
grateful the original version is seeing ink and print.
ELSEWHEN was an amazing opportunity to see your work
directly from the art table and without editorial or
publisher influence. Readers rarely get to see this. It's
really something else to see your first instincts.

I got hooked on your work through the X-Men, so this was
a full circle reading experience. It was a real page-
clicker, and I am very glad to see it will soon be a
page-turner!
