The posing in the final panel of today's page is perfect - was it a challenge to figure out Kurt's pose to issue the 'coup de grace'? You can't have drawn many like that over the years!•• Surprisingly, that shot of Kurt just “fell out of the pencil”. Archangel’s left arm, on the other hand, which should have been easy, I had to rework a few times!

Nightcrawler grabbing the sword feels like a nod to Dave Cockrum and his miniseries of Kurt being a swashbuckler.

Fantastic page! I love the creative use of Archangel's wings and that Nightcrawler got to use his gymnastics skills.

What a special page. Such fast and agile actions and pacing.1.- I think this page in particular would translate beautifully to animation or live action. 2.- Just like you have pointed in the past Mr Byrne, there is "no time" for dialogue. The sequence must last five seconds.

Great action. Can hear the deep flapping of those great wings in my head as he beats Nightcrawler -- and that'll teach alt-Warren to play with neuro-swords.

The facial expressions on the pages in this issue are so good.
I especially like the one of Archangel seemingly enjoying himself just a little too much as he attacks Jean & Scott.

Saw that last panel and "ooh, that's one right to the gizzard."

Archangel's left (not left from our perspective), correct?
Was it the foreshortening that made it difficult?

Poor Jean's just trying to lead a quiet life, but keeps getting dragged back into the super-hero game.

Just deleted a post that contained speculation about what's coming. That's my new JBF policy. Since repeated requests that no one speculate/guess/predict, to avoid possible spoilers for other readers, seem to have fallen on deaf ears, from now on any speculation will be deleted, no matter what else is in the post.

Today's update on Astra/Kitty is a good one. I like that the IG now needs Jean, after they *just* approached her as a threat.
