Love that Wolverine is very hairy. Just makes sense. I hate when every hero is drawn to have zero body hair when the vast majority of men I know have tons on the arms and legs (and as we get older back, etc).

Maybe its because my early comic years were heavily influenced by the JB X-Men years, but your Wolverine is always the best. Always a great balance of Human and beast within. Great page today!

I was a little surprised to see JB draw Clark Kent/Superman with body hair, but it immediately looked right.

I found it strange that Gene Roddenberry ordered William Shatner to shave his chest hair, while Leonard Nimoy kept his. I’m a hairy bugger, myself. I’ve said that emerging from a shower I look like KiKo, son of Kong. In fact, I model the configuration of Wolverine’s body hair on my own.

Personally, I'm loving it that Logan is getting his butt handed to him more than not in this series.
It takes away the aura of "Wolverine can beat everyone" that has crept through M*rv*l for almost 40 years.

Wolverine was heavily influenced by Archie Goodwin’s script for the adaptation of ALIEN. The line “It does what it does best” was used, and quickly adopted by Chris. Over time it became “the best there is at what he does.”Not the same thing.

Again, thank you. This is excellent.
I was going to moan over the "meanwhile" pass after the Jean reveal, but no. This is awesome. I love it. In fact, I am even more engaged in Jahf and Pablo and Wolverine right now than Jean.
Well done sir.
As a side note, I suspect Jean is going to be as messed up (mentally) as Logan. At least for a while. The Rip Van Winkle effect can be devastating.

Had Wolverine's healing power only restored the biological functionality, but if brain trauma had still resulted into permanent memory loss...that might have been an interesting twist to his character?

The first Wolverine I ever saw in 1979 he was very hairy... I realize that maybe in Hulk #181 he wasn't but he was kind of half-baked for awhile. So the further from the hairy short guy I initially met the less Wolverine a Wolverine will seem to me.
This is Wolverine we are seeing here.
This guy (below)... not at all (to me) for so many reasons...

Ah, you're gumming up this lovely thread with that, put it behind a spoiler tag or something.
