That right lower leg looks deformed to me. Anyone
agree?

Perfectly okay, assuming he had rickets as a child.

The one thing that image does conclusively show is the ugliness of those gold spats.

Wish they would revert to JBs dark FF outfits as well. Much more serious looking.

Problem with those outfits was only JB could properly draw them IMHO.

How much extrapolating is Spider-Man going to do with his amazing ass claws?

The only current characters who should wear spats are the Joker, Penguin & Gentleman Ghost IMO.

Apparently the Image Machine has worked its
brainwashing on you quite well. "Creator" is a word
traditionally used to describe someone who -- get
read now, this may be a difficult concept -- creates.
There is a void, someone comes along and
introduces something that did not exist before, and
creation has occured. Turning Spider-Man into the
latest of many is not an act of creation. Doing the
latest of 372 spins on the X-Men is not a creation.
Taking an existing character and giving him/her a
different name is not an act of creation.

Most of what is done in comics these days is
extrapolation, not "creation". (And, yes, of course I
include my own work.)

I was using "creator" in the same generic sense it
was introduced to this thread, referring to a person
who creates comic books for a living, or that the
collective term for the group that produces a comic
book is "creative team." I don't like coming to Rob
Liefeld's defense any more than anyone else here
does, but the guy makes comic books for a living, so
I applied the same generic terminology to him that
gets applied to everyone else in the industry.

Okay... I have a silly question.... why is the costume "armored?" And what was the justification for the mechanical arm-thingees? It's my guess that he only has three because Doctor Octopus has four... and they didn't want to make Parker have too much of an advantage...

If this is all becouse of the premise that nobody knows what Parker is "becoming," then he should be in some lab somewhere, not cavortin around town. Weak.

Has anyone drawn the back of this new costume yet? I just don't see what the hell makes sense about three stingers and I'm guessing another would get added to that art. I would predict the editor of this book will be having stinger placement nightmares for a long time.
