Thanks.

Though I should correct you, I don't believe Spider-Man ever ate
anybodies eyeball, he had his eyeball eaten.

In your sentence the verb "eating" is in present active form, however it
should be in present passive form, so it reads "...scribe of your eyeball
eaten Spider-Man."

One assumes when Spider-Man bit off Morlun's head, the eyeballs were included. :)

The other sad thing is that this happens in Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. All the issues solicited so far for FNSM are All Ages except for the JMS-written #3. The fact that #1 and #2 were rated A bothered me since the rest of "The Other" crossover was T+.

I've read The Other and now I have to ask...Who or what exactly is the Other?  Is it Squitch The Eyball, Peter Parker with new powers, Tony Stark,  Aunt may in Armor, Some Little Kid Seeing a Coccoon? etc...I don't get it.  What a bad series.  Can't believe I bought it.

While that may be true, but saying "eyeball eating" implies a thought out
full fledged eating of another persons eye, if you eat a Hershey's Bar with
Almonds, one would be wrong in calling you an almond eater, for while
you are eating almonds, you are more so eating chocolate, and most
people eat them for the chocolate, with the almonds just as an added
pleasure, therefore while calling them an almond eater is not all together
wrong, it does leave the wrong impression.

Hershey's Eyeballs.

I wonder if they would sell.

If the internet had been around in the 80s, does that mean that when the black costume was introduced the most common reactions would've been "Oh no, now we're never ever going to see the blue and red costume again!" and "This is the worst idea ever"?

Hudlin wrote the issue where Spider-Man's eye got eaten, although I really had no objection to that scene.

"DC also appears to be showing some signs of correcting their mistakes...

The last I checked, DC was in the midst of a crossover that affected nearly every title they publish under the DC banner and was a convoluted, continuity fest that will appeal to and collect obscene amounts of money from the long-term fans that have brought about the current state of comics.   How is this correcting mistakes?

The black costume did not include mechanical arms.  Nor did it reflect a change in Spider-Man's status quo.

As to the Liefeld Captain America...enough already.  It's 10 years old.  Let it die.

That is not dead that can eternal lie(-field)...

And in strange aeons even ART can die...(preferably in a thong with a huge energy bazooka, a katana, some bandoliers and garters, and no feet...while grimacing).

Don't know yet.  Have to wait and see how things reorganize themselves after the Infinite Crisis thing. That's why I said it was "too soon to tell".  Certainly if they keep on they way they have, it will be no improvement for DC, but still better than the mess that is M*****.
