I can understand some tubby Spider-Kid needing mechanical arms...but why would Spider-Man need mechanical arms? Aren't they going to get in the way of him doing Spider-Man type stuff?

We'll have to see.  They may be retractable.  I'm not sure what purpose they have.

Joe Boster: Roger, what do you think of Iron Man: Ineveitable?

Haven't gotten it yet.  I get my comics once a month through an online retailer.  My December comics should be here any day now.  I've avoided reading any interviews or information about it, other than it's supposed to feature some of Iron Man's classic villains.  That's enough to pique my curiosity, at least.

Blue Beetle: Gets shot in head on pannel after being ignored by the real heroes. Scarab chooses new host. New Host gets a new suit of techno-armor.

Spider Man: Has his eyeball eaten then mutates and dies. Reborn through psycho-drama/molting process as "Spider Totem" creates a NEW host for itself. Gets a new suit of techno armor.

Sigh.

Re:  That sketch that Jason Fulton posted.

That, quite possibly, is the dumbest thing I have ever seen in my life.

Technological arms? Sigh. Ollie Osnick, sue him!

I loved that character as Spider-Kid, and The Steel Spider could be a nice new hero, but nobody used him.

Hey, am I wrong or nobody here likes the current Spider-Man stories? Just an impression of mine...!*

*I want to stay here forever. At last, a place where people knows that the current stories are bad.

I think maybe we need a Spider-Cyborg and the Spider-Totem to spin off into it's own book(Eradicator). Then we can have Spider-Boy and a guy in some Spider Armor (Steel)show up and keep them all on as useless appendages to the Spider-books for another twenty years.

****

It may be -- but it's not a "sketch". A sketch is a quick,
unpolished drawing.
