It does have a 90s vibe. Yeah, good call.
The Marvel website, by the way,. has a lot of question marks and hints that all is not what it seems. We'll see.
Civil War looks to bust up the relationship between Marvel heroes. I even think that it might spell the end of Spidey's turn in the Avengers (although the sales would lead me to think the opposite).

da Q mentions gimmicks, and I don't see Spider-Man as a "gimmick" hero. Neither should Tony Stark, who has worked with him and been around him for a while.

I get the feeling it will be because Spidey "died" and they think he is just too vulnerable. MJ will agree.

Pete bought the motorcycle in issue #41, the first appearance of The Rhino. A few issues later (don't remember the exact issue, but still in the 40s) , he painted it a "rollickin' red" color because Mary Jane suggested it.

Well, I made that last part up!
Although, making the audience hate her (since she is a popular character) would be one way to do it! and the fact Q said "it", which i think is the end of the marriage, will be the most controversial thing ever in his tenure.
Although he also said genie back in the bottle-which would suggest it never happend.Somehow, I don't think most would accept it that way.

Captain America's "Captain" outfit was given to him
by D-Man in Captain America #337:
Tony Stark designed a silver shield for him shortly
thereafter, but Cap returned it to him in CA #341
following an Armor Wars-related falling out. Cap
fought Iron Man without a shield at all and still
managed to put up a decent fight.
All this is from memory, by the way. The whole
Captain America replacement story by Mark
Gruenwald, Kieron Dwyer & co. is one of my all-time
favorite comic book runs.

Iron Man's whole *character* is that he's a jerk, isn't
it? Weapons designer, billionaire playboy, hotshot
inventor, corporate CEO, recovering alcoholic in
possession of the world's most powerful
self-contained weapons system...no matter how
much I was enjoying the Iron Man comic at any given
time, I don't think I *ever* liked Tony Stark.
The guy probably hangs out with Dick Cheney on
weekends thinking of ways to screw old ladies out of
their retirement funds, then getting blitzed and
blowing up his competitors' factories.
