Ok, but he said he didn't know Logan (or Phoneix II/Marvel Girl). There is another theory -Prof. X. sent a bunch of other X-men wannabees to rescue the original, hence why the guy knew of Cyclops and why a couple of other bodies were around him. They failed. He didn't tell the New X-men about the previous attempt. THey sent the island up into space-with the failed wannabees still onj it, unknowingly. Except Professor X did know. I'd like to think he thought they were dead though by the time they got into space. The 3rd SUmmers Bros. thing comes from a newsarama interview-where Brubaker said we would find out/ Perhaps he was jesting though-he did laugh after saying it.
