JB, yesterday's strip mentioned that John (the comic book store owner) had his trial starting on Thursday.  If memory served, you mentioned a while ago that Mr. Batiuk wanted to quote you or maybe use your likeness during the "trial".  Am I mis-remembering this or are you involved in this in any way?

Could be cool if he uses you in his story.

Yeah, I "testify" at the trial. Keep your eyes peeled!

Yeah!  I've been waiting for months for this sub-plot to get resolved...how far ahead does Batiuk work?

You wouldn't happen to be the last person on her list of witnesses, would you?

That's nothing. Virgil Partch was two years ahead when he died.

Joe: Becky's Mom went into the comic shop and found "adult" material and had John arrrested. The material in question was japanese manga that was clearly marked marture and out of the reach of little hands. Ms(?) Blackburn has done this before, once wanting to stop the school's poetry magazine from being published because it contained a poem about love in it.

I belive the strips ran from March 3rd-20th of this year.
