Bad news, indeed. Hopefully, there'll be something to replace it soon!

I love Greg Rucka's work, I hope he stays on AOS.

I am more disappointed that Doom Patrol is ending. I was really enjoying that book at lot. I was never really a Superman guy, anyway.

Honestly, I'm fine with JB moving on to another project. Gail may
be a good writer, but I guess I'm too use to JB writing style. I
couldn't get into the book.

I think if "fill-ins" sell out like this title did, perhaps DC should
reconsider...

Apparantly Gail, and I are just filler.
********************************************************** ************
Ouch. It's interesting how the filler sold better, and was better
received than the preceding creators. Here's hoping the two of you find
something suitable soon.
The reason is no secret. Apparently it is now
"policy" to rotate the creative teams (including the editor) on
Superman titles. Gail and I were hired (tho I was not told this when I
agreed to do the book, or I would have declined) to "fill the gap"
between one team and the next.
********************************************************** *****************
That's really unprofessional in my opinion (DC's policy, not yours.)
I've recently realized that creators who know that they're on a book
for a limited while can do great things with the lisence (see
Alan Moore's "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?," Frank
Miller's Batman, Englehart's Batman, Mark Millar's Spider-Man) but the
creators should definitely know in advance the amount of space they
have to leave their stamp on the character, tie up all loose ends, and
do everything they wanted to do. It's also unfortunate they got rid of
this creative team before the "One Year Later" leap, as I have a hunch
that Simone could've done great things with that.
* Edit- this was the best creative team on the character in the last few years, and I doubt the next one can match it.

JB, since you have more time after finishing up your current obligations, do you think maybe you will continue your web comics?
You Go Ghouls was fun. It would be interesting to see after all the
work you've done on Doom Patrol, Action and Blood of the Demon, the
flow of where your mind is at when starting up the You Go Ghouls
mindset again or any other project that would be next. With all these
stories in your head trying to come out in an orderly fashion, do you
go crazy keeping things in check?

With all due respect, I really have to say, John, that you are
extrememy conceited. Your run on Action (and even on Doom Patrol
and Demon) has been less than stellar, and I'm sure that it is a relief
for some to hear that you are leaving.
Your art has been pretty awful as of late. Although we do not
expect your work to be as spectacular as "The Dark Phoenix Saga," your
current art has just been too coarse and unrefined. It is
only Gail's writing that is carrying this book right now.
I do agree about what you said about Wizard proclaiming its top 10
artists and such. However, I don't think you're in a position to
criticize their process since it's been a while that you've even been
considered a top creator. With what you've been producing lately,
Wizard is right not to even put you on that list.
Get over the creative team change. You'll find something
else. And in the meantime, please try to stay more humble and
improve your art.
