Glad to see that you are still with us Brian.  I was packing the car to head to Tenna to see if you were stuck in a ditch somewhere.

John:

I hope you don't mind me asking -- but did DC give a reason as to why they are removing you and Gail from Action Comics?  If so, would you mind telling us what they said that reason is?

The reason is no secret. Apparently it is now "policy" to rotate the creative teams (including the editor) on Superman titles. Gail and I were hired (tho I was not told this when I agreed to do the book, or I would have declined) to "fill the gap" between one team and the next.

You are removed????

i thought that you and Gail had resigned cause the editor asked the inker to redraw some faces without asking it to you first, maybe even without warning you.

What is Dc thinking!!!!!

Not telling you before you signed (if this policy was already in-place) is ... incredibly unethical.  Am I the only one who thinks this?

I am very sorry that you have been mistreated this way, John.  It's a shame.

BTW, does anyone know if Rucka is being "rotated out" any time soon?  Personally, it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Can't STAND his writing.

I'd guess not, only because he's supposedly a "hot writer".  I'll miss Byrne on Action Comics after issue 835, I'll take a look at #836 on the shelves and decide then(though more than likely I'm done with the book after Simone and Byrne leave).

The only artist that could make me continue buying Action would be Alan
Davis. But he's Marvel exclusive at the moment so that aint gonna happen.
