Since we were talking about it here…
I dug out my copies of OMAC. It had been many, many years since I read it and it still stands as one of my favorite JB stories. The toning with the artwork is absolutely gorgeous. It’s been even longer since I read Kirby’s original series so I can’t remember exactly how it lined up with it but I seem to recall them fitting nicely together. With all the other works DC has put out by JB, this one needs to be high on the list for sure.

I dropped any post-Kirby OMAC and took my series as beginning almost immediately after his. So I think they dovetail pretty well!

That was my recollection without remembering any details. Just a fabulous piece of work, JB.
How did the toning affect the speed at which you produced the pages?
Did you use the DuoShade exclusively on this project?
(Can DuoShade even be used with zipatone?)
