I believe that human life begins at conception, which brings me to classify abortion as a form of justifiable homicide. If it’s legal—and it should be—it can’t really be considered as anything else.

That said, there are times when the procedure is pushed to truly obscene extremes (partial birth abortion for example) and this Korean case must surely be such. The overwhelming element of cruelty takes it beyond a justifiable medical procedure.

For some reason, my mom gave birth to all of her 4 children one month early - so I was born pretty much the same 36 weeks that this pregnancy was terminated.

While I disagree with JB regarding when life begins. I also believe that in some, rare cases late term abortions are acceptable. However, what is described in that article is horrific.
