Artist Keith Watson is probably best known for his work on the last few years of the Dan Dare strip in Eagle in the 60s. His first work on the strip had come in 1958 in the latter days of the Frank Hampson studio. Thanks to Monica Priest, the daughter of the former partner of Watson's brother Norman, we can now enjoy his light-hearted pitch to join Hampson's team.

Nice! I have a Watson page in my collection. Not a terribly exciting scene, but it does have the Mekon.
