I sincerely think it's because the Sydney Sweeney Stuff is bull$#ĩ+ perpetuated by such a minuscule number of voices or those that are invested in making the left to look bad.  

You said it yourself, no one cared in the least when it came up in the context of Cindy Crawford--because in reality statistically nobody cares--but without the extra zing of the currently relevant Sydney Sweeney, it passes 100% without comment.   

I can only compare it to people who seem so invested in having a negative opinion of John Byrne--like, why?   It's not based in reality and should be treated as such.
