Glad your team caught all that, and you are on the road to recovery.

Welcome to the team. I had my stent put in 11 years ago.

Were you awake for the procedure? When they were working on me, it felt like a tiny kitten gently kneading it's paws on my chest. I also had the option of their point of entry: groin or (my choice) wrist.

Hope you have a speedy recovery!

Good deal, Kevin. A word of advice: don’t slack off on the rehab. My mom
did just the bare minimum last year after her surgery and it has affected her
in ways she never thought it would even today. So whatever they tell you to
do, aim higher. You won’t regret it.

Were you awake for the procedure?

********************************

I was in "twilight sleep" and they also went through my wrist, even though they prepared my groin just in case.  (Sorry, that's probably TMI.)

And, Brian, I will definitely do as much of the rehab as I can.  My wife has dementia, so I need to make sure I have someone to watch her while I'm gone during that 90 minutes.  It shouldn't be an issue though.

OH, and I'm home!!!

I didn’t know that about your wife, Kevin.  My mom had Alzheimer’s.  I know how hard that is. You’ve been dealt a rough hand.  Sounds like you’re getting through it with the proper amount of patience, acceptance and grace.  Glad you’re on the mend.
