The JLGL DC Style Guide that was released in 2024 is amazing and worth every penny.

The style guide is just mouth watering!I've already gone cover to cover twice with it in the couple of months I've had it.

Doug - Did you remember ever seeing the DC Babies shown in the style guide? I have zero recollection of them.

I first encountered his art, as something I would recognise, when he took over THE NEW TEEN TITANS. He was different to Perez, but it was very clear, this guy could draw! Only later did I become familiar with his other work.

Mr DC! Draws all their characters perfectly. His figures are so clean and graceful, the art sweeps me up into another world. Truly a great artist. Happy birthday!

I think I'd been reading comics for 10 years before I finally ran across his work, and I have to admit he's as talented as anybody else in comics. It's no surpise they had his illustrate their style sheets because his art is so clean, so appealing and so consistent.

Happy birthday to Jose Luis.JB is and will always be my favorite artist, but I don't know how hard this choice would have been had JLGL drawn Marvel books!

I can only imagine him on Marvel books in the early to mid-80s. What a miss. I wonder if Shooter ever tried to get him to come over.
