Whether someone believes jn climate change or not, no one can think such air quality is not causing harm to the people who love there.

What's love got to do with it?

Fat fingers. Should have been live.
Although Tina agreed with your question.

Hot dry fast winds just blew fires through my neighborhood in Altadena and
about half the homes here burned down.

It’s strange how abstract this stuff seems until your neighbors house is on
fire and you’re next in line.

The house seems fine tonight. We will see.

Mark - it's one thing to watch this unfold on the news, a completely different experience in person. Very sorry this is happening and am hoping you're spared. Keep safe

Thank you! Our street seems done with fire now. Some gone, some
standing. We just put on a steel seam roof in 2024 on advice from the fire
department- which seems to have helped.

We are safe and so lucky. Half of the town and, seemingly, every local
landmark including historic buildings that survived other fires are all gone. It
is heartbreaking.

Being helpless to do anything drives me to things like posting online🤪

Glad to know you’re okay and unscathed.
