I'd love to see the treasury crossovers reprinted at full
size. That Batman vs Hulk was drawn with that in mind and
is stunning. The Superman vs Spider-Man was overwhelmingly
powerful to this young Spider-Man/Andru fan!

While I love Walt Simonson's work, I always believed the X-MEN/TEEN TITANS team up would've 'blown the roof off' had JB & George Pérez collaborated on the artwork instead.

Imagine half pencilled by JB and inked by Pérez and the other half pencilled by Pérez and inked by JB.

Couldn’t have happened. At that point I was totally burned out on the X-Men.

Gotta admit, I really liked the colors on that job as well. Isn't it one of the first mainstream comics to be printed on Baxter paper?

I DW needs to do an Artist’s Edition of that…..It was in
the works very recently, until it wasn’t. :(

No disrespect to JB or George, but Walter Simonson & Terry Austin were a can't-miss combo on that X-MEN/TEEN TITANS team-up one-shot... one of my all-time favorites, in no small part to the stellar artwork.

It "blew the roof off" as-is!  :)

(Thanks for mentioning CheapGraphicNovels, Brian - happy to order this at 40% off and looking forward to reliving a lot of these tales again for the first time in a long time!)
