Just saw this for the first time today. It's interesting to see what elements the artist pulled together to make this image. Sort of a "reverse angle" on the classic cover by Byrne/Austin.

I'm more drawn to the strange corner box design spreading out across the top of the cover (and the white 'gap' on the top left).

I must say ... I dig this cover! There's a kind of John Buscema/Russ Heath vibe to it. And the way Scott and Jean are positioned, it evokes the original STAR WARS movie poster for me.

Love the eye-catching corner box design as well.
