Also, my mother’s 103rd birthday—except for that whole being dead thing. Still nearly impossible to believe the 1920s were a century ago

Still nearly impossible to believe the 1920s were a century ago

It is a bit weird, but now we have to designate the century. I used to know many people born in the 1920's and now I'm getting to be the old codger (58 last month).

We barely had a summer over here & Saturday was the mother of all thunder storms. This has been one wet summer in the UK

Have loved that song since I first heard it as a kid. I was once in a chemistry lecture @ uni, the lecturer was on about something & ended with ‘and then, it’s bloody January again’.
Both he & I were mighterly upset that I was the only person who knew what he was on about.
