Speaking of the Beatles, a friend of mine was having a guitar built by Bernie Hamburger who built guitars for George Harrison, Carl Perkins and such. I went to his house with my friend to check on his progress and met the man.

Yeah, I have the William Shatner link too. Him being in his 90es and having met so many of the greats from a bygone era certainly does create a lot of linked chains.
My favourite degree of seperation for many years was that back in the 90es I met Andreas Katsulas. And of course he was the one armed man in 'The Fugitive' movie. Once you can get to Harrison Ford in a couple of steps that opens up all sorts of links.
It may have been supplanted recently by my meeting Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Can link with her though to Kurt Russell via 'Death Proof.' And from Russell to Elvis through that famous kick he gave him as a child actor in 'It Happened At The World's Fair.' Of course JB had that more direct route to Elvis, and infinitely more fun one through his kiss from Yvonne Craig! (Talk about Kissin' Cousins! ;) )
It's kinda why I've always been a litte bemused at why people singled out Kevin Bacon* as the most predominant six degrees of seperation linker. You don't need to be him to cast that net wide and far over many generations.
*Though in any event having met Kiefer Sutherland I can link myself to Kevin Bacon easily enough through the 'A Few Good Men' connection.

Yes sorry, in my haste I outsmarta**ed myself.
But this is the first I’m hearing about seven Cleopatras, and Googling yields me nought… Pray, elucidate!

Is there a time limit on the 6-degrees rule? Is it suppose to just be just people alive today? Just curious.

Koroush, there was one Ptolemaic ruler named Cleopatra -- Cleopatra VII Thea Philopator -- but six prior Queens of that name.

Thanks Michael, I never studied Cleopatra in any real detail.
Also, I realised today that I’m only 3 degrees of separation from Grace Kelly: my dad met the Shah of Iran when he was a young diplomat; the Shah formally met Princess Grace, and is also rumoured to have proposed to her years earlier.
