43,000 Americans were killed by guns last year. This (toothless) ruling conjures images of open barn doors.

In 1964 the Surgeon General warned us about smoking.

It took some three decades before any real progress was made to impede the big killing business of big tobacco.

Makes one wonder if some time in 2050s, then, America might finally get around to dealing with gun violence.

Something to look forward to in my 90s.

Remember, despite what so many smokers think, their filthy habit is not a protected right. Gun ownership is. Abused, but protected.
