He's not immune to prosecution.
That might well alter the deal somewhat........................................... I'm not really sure Trump's people have thought this through. Biden is currently still President, so ... :)

Trumf is all out of shits to give when it comes to worrying about what people think of him, but Biden clearly wants to be remembered as The Nice One. I can’t imagine him ever unleashing his legitimate Presidential Power on Trumf.

So, since Biden is still President, which makes his every act "official", apparently, then he doesn't have to leave office, right? I mean, thos immunity thing swings both ways, doesn't it?

My initial elation has been somewhat dampened by the BBC seeming to
think asking the VP to not ratify votes could be counted as official.
I’m just hoping that stealing official top secret documents does not count
as official.
I guess we should be pleased that @ least one thought a scenario where a
President orders the military to assassinate their opponent could be
classified as official & would be protected & thus the ruling is bollocks.
Ah well.

There goes Superman’s slogan “Truth, Justice and the American Way”; it
now sounds like a mutually exclusive choice.
Hopefully if Trump is elected, he will formally change the USA’s title to The
People’s Democratic Republic of America. Because when the most senior
members of the Judiciary simply vote along party lines on something so
fundamental to justice, you’re only a step away from having a dogma-driven
dictatorship with no real checks and balances.

Am I misunderstanding the ruling? I think it explains clearly that Presidential conversations with Department of Justice leadership are protected and official. So, if POTUS were caught plotting a coup with his Attorney General, these actions and conversations would be protected by immunity.
If so, I think that sets the countdown to the end of our democracy. SCOTUS has written out a roadmap for someone like Trump to take over all of government.
