When masked unidentified police can jail immigrants with no process then
they can do it to you.
We have no way of knowing how many of the people just flown down to the
El Salvadoran gulag are U.S. Citizens. We don’t even know the precise
number of alleged immigrants were on that plane.
This shit cartoon is the face of evil.

For clarity, that above "X" cartoon was supposed to depict Virginia Basora-Gonzalez, who was convicted and deported once before for fentanyl trafficking.She got busted recently after entering the U.S. illegally.

For clarity, the fact that they did nothing at the White House to provide that
“clarity” which Doug had to post is the point. It’s NOT a specific immigrant.
It’s all immigrants, it’s women, it’s people of color, it’s the innocent crying
gay man who was put in the El Salvadoran hell-hole prison crying for his
mother to help him after following every law there is to achieve legal asylum
in the U.S.
“Clarity”? Feh.

Well, Doug, I can appreciate the effort to keep us honest, but honestly— do
you think that the White House intention is more to specifically crow about
one single alleged success or to fear monger and intimidate all possible
categories of humans who might identify or empathize with the cartoon
woman in that cartoon?
The effect of bringing up this detail is an example of how easy it is to
deflect and disguise the horror that is swiftly rising in this nation.
When people are literally being grabbed off the street by masked thugs and
thrown in jail with no due process, in violation of court orders, it takes on a
context which your specific note cannot possibly mitigate.

That entire situation is FUBAR. The acquisition of Greenland has never been a thing with Americans. Ever. Couple that with wanting Canada to be the “51st State”, absurd on its face given its size let alone the lunacy of even considering it, and this admin is more demented than the one that left office four years ago. Maddening.

Bill, thanks once again for showing that the UK has the best insults. Is there
anything to rival that name?
Vance. What a crybaby. Interesting that after the whole Zelensky ‘how dare
you come to us without a suit and not say thank you’, we have Vance who
has now twice gone to another country and delivered speeches that insult
the hosts.
Another knobhead who needs to just fuck off out of this world so normal
people can just get on with their lives without worrying about what the US
will do next.
Right now? The country who is threatening invasion of various countries the
most, is the US - be that militarily or economically. And the countries it is
threatening? It’s allies.
We know it’s them, and not at least half of the American population. But
there is a very large percentage of the population who actually are backing
this crap. They are vocal, they are active, they are loud and they are
emboldened to be those things.
America has often been seen as arrogant, we are so far beyond arrogance
at the moment, and this will only hurt, possibly destroy, relations. At all
levels.
I almost organised a trip to Florida for this year. I am so glad that I did not. I
most likely would have cancelled it. I cannot believe what that pack of
wankers in your government are doing, how they are acting, what they are
saying. It’s thuggery. Pure and simple.
And the depressing thing is, no one is looking to what happens in four years
time.
America will have to rest its relations after Trump leaves. You will either get
Vance (unless you really do end up with an orange full on dictator - but I
cannot think where that will lead, it is too scary a place to contemplate),
who by then will have nuked his reputation with everyone and placed you in
a deeper diplomatic hole, or a different government who will need to spend
that entire four years apologising for the mess that has been created.
It’s those four years I am worrying about as well, not just these.

Vance says Denmark has failed to keep Greenland “secure”. Not sure what this means, since I am aware of no imminent threats. But apparently Trumf wants to portray us as heroic Crusaders in this nonsense.
